LMBA Coaches Code of Conduct  

 

I will be mindful when scheduling games/practices, kids have multiple interests/obligations.

I will teach players to play fairly and respect the rules, officials, opponents and teammates.

I will respect my players and coaching staff, opponents, officials and fans

I will ensure all players receive equal instruction, discipline, support, and appropriate fair playing time.

I will not ridicule or yell at my players for making mistakes or for performing poorly.

I will encourage players to have confidence in themselves.

I will be generous with praise and constructive with criticism.

I will remember that players need a coach they can respect.

I will set a good example and ensure my public conduct at all LMBA events is acceptable.

I will communicate with players, parents and LMBA in good faith and a respectful manner.

I will obtain the proper and most current coaching requirements.

I agree to abide by the rules, regulations and decisions set out for LMBA by Baseball Regina, SPBL, Regina Minor Softball League,

Baseball Sask, Softball Sask, Baseball Canada and Softball Canada

 

I agree to abide by the principles of the code of conduct agreement as set out by LMBA.
